Our Story

About Moonshift

Moonshift was created as a soft place to land during perimenopause and life’s transitions — a space for reflection, shared experience, and gentle connection.

Perimenopause doesn’t always announce itself clearly. It can arrive quietly, awkwardly, with humour, confusion, or a sense that something has shifted but doesn’t yet have a name. Too often, these experiences are minimized, medicalized, or faced alone. Moonshift exists to offer something different.

Here, we make room for honest stories, thoughtful reflections, and moments of recognition that remind you you’re not imagining it — and you’re not alone.

Moonshift is shaped by lived experience and grounded in the belief that there is no single right way to move through change. We welcome diverse voices, identities, bodies, and paths, and we honour the many ways people experience perimenopause and midlife.

Alongside our Journal, we offer small, comforting pieces designed as quiet companions — gentle reminders, light humour, and words meant to be worn, held, or gifted with care.

Whether you’re here to read, reflect, smile, or simply pause for a moment, you’re welcome to take what you need and leave the rest.

Moonshift is not about fixing or rushing through this season.
It’s about noticing.
Listening.
And finding connection in the in-between.

SHARE YOUR STORY

Sharing is always optional.

Moonshift is shaped by lived experience — the moments we name, and the ones still forming. If you feel called to share a reflection from your own experience with perimenopause or midlife change, you’re welcome to do so here.

Stories can be short or long, shared anonymously if you prefer, and will never be published without your clear consent. There’s no right way to tell a story, and no pressure to share before you’re ready.
